Hai, for a while ive been thinking of themes i could do for my new bedroom.
After alot of thinking ive come up with the idea of basing it on the new alice in wonderland film (tim burton version)
I have a pretty small bedroom but am still willing to give it a shot, anyone have any ideas on props and general things i could get for my room that link to the film?!
Also random decorations i could do or wall painting ideas?!

I am painting a bathroom in a bar, and I was wondering what some good ideas were out there to dress up the walls? I don’t want to use wallpaper, or put up wood trim.

Alright, so first of all, my bedroom is fairly large considering the rest of the rooms in my house. I have 2 windows that generally give a lot of light and keep the room bright during the day.
My mom is letting me paint one wall in my room in a color I pick (and another niche sort of thing – a thin wall that stands out more than the rest, and is in the wall exactly opposite the wall I am going to paint).

Is red a good idea to paint the wall? I want a sort of rich, intimate, more on the dark side color, and I really like red, but I don’t know if it’s good for my sort of room. The wall that I would be painting has one window right on the wall next to it and one opposite of it. Basically when a person enters my room they don’t see that wall right away, because it’s the same wall that the door is on. (I can’t put it on the opposite wall, though, because that wall has my ceiling-to-floor wardrobe, the niche/wall thing and the window. And my mom doesn’t want me to paint the other two walls, which will remain white, by the way.)

Is red a good idea for that sort of room? Would the natural light coming from the windows compliment it, or just take away from the light? My second choice (if not red) is blue, a deep but not too dark shade of blue (kind of like this: http://www.acfamerica.org/assets/images/Turquoise.JPG but a bit darker, I think).

I’m doing a big clear-out of my bedroom and painting it.
any ideas on wall colour? i was thinking a very light pink. and i’ve moved the furniture around a LOT over the years but if anyone has new ideas i’d love to hear them!
also any little designs i could paint onto the walls to add more rather then just plain walls… but it doesn’t bother me too much
(the TV has to be slightly around there as the tv caple is there)

i have 2 rugs, their being cleaned, and there is not ONE piece of clothing not put away in those photos… it’s messy cause im cleaning it… its a work in progress.

I would like to paint a wall in my bedroom and make it a feature wall. However i want something a bit different and i need colours that will make my room look bigger.

Keeping in mind that my bed spread is light and dark blue shades.

My room is zebra print and pink. I’m really into music also. I can’t paint my wall or put up wallpaper..

We have a very large , odd shaped long room. We’re in the process of painting and would like to paint an accent wall (maybe red). The problem is, we’re not sure which wall. The first idea was the wall on the farthest end of the room, so the eye would be draw to the color, but that wall has a big window on it, so there wouldn’t be much color.

Would it be strange to also paint the adjacent wall, and have two of them colored?

I know it would be strange to paint the 2 parallel walls, but we though that since the 2 adjacent wall are smaller it wouldn’t be overwhelming.

Any thoughts or tips?
